Showcase Details

Lots of important Spring Showcase details will be announced in the coming weeks! A few things you can do to be ready:

 

Check out our website!

https://www.legacydancecolorado.com will be the central hub for all the showcase information, schedules, and sign-ups! Head there RIGHT NOW to view a helpful at-a-glance calendar and sign-ups for class moms and hair & make-up nights (check out the tabs under the “showcase” heading)!

 

Parent Portal

Please help us care for your dancer by taking a moment to ensure that your parent portal is up-to-date with any food allergies/special needs that class moms may need to be aware of backstage at the show. To do this, log into your parent portal, click on “my students”, then click on the student name, then update the information as needed.

 

Haircuts

As you may have seen on the costume posters, it is a showcase requirement that all Legacy dancer’s hair be secured in a tight bun at the crown of their head with all bangs, flyaways, etc., slicked back.  So, as much as we love cute bobs and bangs, you may want to wait to do any big haircuts until after the show!

 

Shoes

This is a good time to check and make sure all dance shoes that will be worn in the show (including hip hop sneakers) fit and are in working order. If you need to order anything - please email brenda@legacydancecolorado.com by March 29 to ensure arrival before the show.

 

Nude Leotards

Dancers who have backstage costume changes during the show may prefer to have a nude leotard underneath for modesty and comfort. Check now to see if your dancer needs a new size and email brenda@legacydancecolorado.com by March 29 to order.

 

Business Sponsorships

If you are interested in advertising your business by becoming a fundraising sponsor for our spring showcase, please reach out to Brittany at fundraisingdirector@legacydancecolorado.com for more details. Several sponsorship tiers and options are available! The deadline for all submissions is March 15.
