Rise & Impact Performing Teams

Rise & Impact Performing Team Auditions are coming up Friday May 7th from 6-8pm at the Frederick Studio (in the Rec Center). We'd love to see you there! 

*All returning Rise & Impact members must audition again.*

 

Audition Information/What to Expect:

-Wear black leotard, tights, and skirt. 

-Bring all dance shoes.

-Hair must be up in a bun.

-You will get a number to pin on the front of your leotard.

-Bring a water bottle.

-Students will be taught two simple combinations during the auditions.

-All students will be fitted.
-Come stretched and ready to dance!

-Be confident, smile, and do your best!! Auditioning is a great experience for everyone!
-Plan to come a little early to stretch and to get checked in.

Audition Results will be announced via email by Monday May 10th at 7pm. Upon making the 21-22 Season Teams, the Summer Intensive #1 will be the first event for new members.

Performing Teams:

Rise & Impact Performing Teams represent Legacy School of Dance at several performance opportunities throughout the year such as nursing homes, town festivals, schools, etc.  In the event that performance opportunities are still somewhat limited due to COVID-19, classes will focus on other elements to expand their dance knowledge including: Choreography, Dance History, Stage Tech, Music/Choreography Notation, and Performing Techniques.

 

Level/ Age to Audition:

Students must be 9 years old, or in Ballet 4/TapJazz4 to audition.

 

Commitments and Expectations: 

  • All Performing Team members must take both ballet and tap/jazz classes. 

  • All season practices are mandatory. Failure to communicate a necessary absence may mean removal from the team.

Important Dates for the 2021-2022 Teams:

Intensive #1: Friday June 25, 1-4pm at CVPRD

Event Practice: Friday June 25, 4-5pm at CVPRD

4th at Firestone Parade: Sunday July 4, 9am

Intensive #2: July 9, 1-4pm at CVPRD

Intensive #3: August 6, 1-5pm (with team dinner) location TBD

Event Practice: Friday September 10, 5-6pm at CVPRD

Fort Lupton Trapper's Day Parade: Saturday, September 11, 9am (parade is 10am)

Frederick Miner's Day Parade: Saturday, September 18, 9am (parade is 10am)

Fall Classes begin: September 7

 

New Member Team Fees:

$366-$368 (To be charged in June)

  1. Warm Ups (Includes Jacket and Pants and a Tank Top)

  2. Costumes (Includes 2 costumes and 2 pairs of tights)

  3. Sequin Performance Tank

  4. Rise/Impact T-Shirt

  5. Water Bottle

  6. White Shoes: To be purchased on your own (worn at all outdoor performances)

 

Summer Tuition: $162.50 

 

Monthly Season Tuition: $65 D/ $81 ND (Monthly charges starting in September)
