2026 Theme: Perspective

Perspective

A mental view or prospect; the arrangement of objects, people, or situations relative to oneself or others; a particular attitude or way of understanding something; a point of view; aiding the vision; a way of showing depth or distance

Synonyms: outlook, view, frame of mind, vantage point, interpretation, approach

As artists, dancers and choreographers use perspective to develop both spatial and emotional depth in dance. Perspective allows you to create and guide the audience to experience another world. How can YOU use perspective to create spatial or emotional depth in your dance?
